Pairing your Bluetooth ASA

You will need:

• a compatible smart phone or tablet
• a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network
• On the free CBi home app, “MY HOME” and “Locations” must have been set up.
  • How to set up the CBi Home app for the first time

1. Preparation
   • Make sure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi connection as the device and that you are connected with your WiFi password.
   • Ensure that Bluetooth is on.
2. Tap Add Device (or the plus sign (+) to scan)
3. The Smart Adaptor should be discovered. Click the Add button
4. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your credentials.
   • If the password is wrong, you will not be notified but the device will not pair.
5. The pairing status will be displayed
6. Rename the ASA. (Optional) Tap the edit button to change the device name at any time. Tap Done.
7. Setup is complete your CBi Astute Smart Adaptor can now be controlled via the app, and schedules set in the timer menu.
